ntp-4.2.8p11 was released on 27 February 2018. It addresses 2 low-/medium-, 1 informational-/medium-, and 2 low-severity security issues in ntpd, 1 medium-severity security issue in ntpq, and provides over 65 non-security bugfixes and other improvements over 4.2.8p10.

Hi All

I have a question about NTP configurations.

We are working on a data processing network (worldwide) which is supposed to be running from 2018 to 2043.

Therefore our customer wants us to simulate any fake time from 2018 to 2043.

Do you know if I can build up a fake "stratum 0" server ?

What is the clients configuration to make sure that they will synchronize immediatly to any fake dates ?

Any architecture suggestion ? No servers will be on internet , it is "private" network only.
