ntp-4.2.8p15 was released on 23 June 2020. It addresses 1 medium-severity security issue in ntpd, and provides 13 non-security bugfixes over 4.2.8p13.

  • frequency offset recorded using ntpq -c rv:
    frequency offset recorded using ntpq -c rv The frequency is converging to 268.3 PPM, this equals to 23.2 sec/d.

  • offset recorded through ntpd vars of assoc. peer.:
    offset recorded through ntpd vars of assoc. peer. Least-squares fit gives a slope of 23.7 sec/d.
